Ten years ago I moved out into “the woods” of northern Minnesota. That spring I was delighted by the wide array of wild flowers that dotted the woods surrounding the lawn. Particularly drawn to these delightful clusters of yellow twirling petals, I researched what they were—determined then and there to immortalize them in this linocut.
